Website & App Development
/

PPCC supports families with medically complex children. WHDS built their care app and brought it to market.

The challenge

Build a sustainable user and clinician informed web and mobile application that assists parents of medically complex children

The care of medically complex children is an economic and emotional challenge for caregivers. The Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition has been working to support families through this process for over a decade, As the parents they serve become increasingly reliant on technology, expert-informed applications need to be developed. Furthermore, these platforms need to have a business model that is sustainable and doesn't pass the cost of operation on to the families being served.

our solution

Digital Tools that Empower Caregivers

The Caregiver app provides parents with tools that allow them to efficiently store and share information with their extended network of healthcare providers and support. Built with location-based notifications, users are prompted to keep key information up to date. Sustainability is achieved through white label versions of the product sold to hospital systems and other large enterprises working in healthcare.

Testimonial

PPCC is a nonprofit with no tech staff. We couldn't even have begun to develop our app with out the wrap around support of Work Hard Digital Services. Their commitment has gone above and beyond paid service.
